Has anyone heard anything about CCH going to a required UserID and password system?
We currently are on IP recognition and this sounds awfully inconvenient. I wonder
how it will do with ezproxy...

Hello,

Checking our CCH Research NetWork subscription we found an important notice.
They will be moving to IntelliConnect.
You will have to create a UserID and password to get into the system.
After that time "you will no longer have access to CCH Research NetWork."
Has anyone heard this news? They do not give any dates when this will occur.

Found an FAQ for CCH Intelliconnect here: http://tinyurl.com/lmnzc6.
Seems like the username will just be an email address, so shouldn't
really be a problem for your users.
CALI’s been using email addresses for usernames for years it has never
been any sort of issue, at least not for the couple of hundred
thousand law school folks who have registered.

Yes, we are looking at their new platform, called Intelliconnect, which is user/password based. Check with your sales rep for details.

IntelliConnect access remains IP-controlled. The confusing "create a
User ID" link and subsequent user id/password login is for
personalization (pretty much the same purpose as entering an email
address while accessing the old CCH Research Network). Try it:

http://intelliconnect.cch.com

Nice benefit, all of your CCH subscriptions (tax, health, business,
etc.) are now accessible under one login,
