Emergency - Need your input RIGHT AWAY
We have to select between 2 lists of beer options for the Thursday
evening dinner/reception at the CALI Conference. I don't feel
qualified to make a sufficiently informed decision on this weighty
matter, so I am asking for input from the illustrious world of
Teknoids.

Being a local, and having sampled all but the Lakefront's Local Acre , I would recommend what others are leaning towards. Go good with the great local and stick with List #1, items 1-3, and List #2, items 1-3.

Doesn't Dax get "executive privilege" to make the call since he's our

Tell them we want the first three of both and frankly 4,5 & 6 of #2 are an insult to beerlovers. IMHO.

Subject: [teknoids] Emergency - Need your input RIGHT AWAY
We have to select between 2 lists of beer options for the Thursday
evening dinner/reception at the CALI Conference. I don't feel
qualified to make a sufficiently informed decision on this weighty
matter, so I am asking for input from the illustrious world of
Teknoids.

RE: Emergency - Need your input RIGHT AWAY
Good call, Susanna, both on the mix & match and adding Leinenkugel. As a native Milwaukeean, I am mainly puzzled by the inclusion of Budw***er on any list. As such, and if we're wed to the lists, List #1 gets my vote.

Tell them we want the first three of both and frankly 4,5 & 6 of #2 are an insult to beerlovers. IMHO.
And what about Leinies?? (leinie.com)

RE: Emergency - Need your input RIGHT AWAY
Not having tried all of these, I consulted beeradvocate.com. Interestingly, the average scores of both groups are almost identical.
Group 2 has the more drinkable light beer (Amstel), but group 1 has more stuff I never see down here in the south, so I'd take #1.
