Flash Video

We're thinking about moving all our online video to Flash video...
Anyone already doing that? If so, are you serving the video out locally
and with what software? We're looking at Flash Media Server, Flash
Streaming Server, and an open source solution called Red 5.

Thanks!

RE: Flash Video

We are using Flash Media Streaming Server. It was a snap to setup and works very well. If you have anyone on staff that knows a little ActionScript, you can make a very nice flash video player that will incorporate automatic bandwidth detection and selection. It creates a very nice user experience by providing the user the best quality stream without having to choose anything.

Flash Video

We're currently serving up flash for our videos. However in lieu of hosting ourselves, we're going to YouTube edu.

Right bow we stream just using HTTP and jwplayer.
