Load testing the CALIcon09 Dimdim instance

Folks,
We're going to use our own instance of Dimdim to webcast sessions at
CALIcon09 if it passes one last test: lots of users, multiple
sessions. To do that, we're going to need some help. So, if you have
some time on Friday (5/22/09) between 12:30 and 1:00 PM ET, I'm
looking for 5 volunteers to act as presenters and several hundred to
act as participants. To manage this, we're using the conference
website, so you'll need your CALI login to sign up.
If you're interested in being a test presenter, read more about it and
sign up at:
http://w.cali.org/conference/event/web-sessions-test-presenters

If you're interested in being a participant, visit the link below to
get more info and sign up:
http://w.cali.org/conference/event/web-sessions-test-participants

You don't need to be a going to the conference or a speaker to help out.

Any questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Elmer.

CLE Software

Does anyone have any recommendations/horror stories regarding software
their CLE programs are using for managing seminars and interacting with
CLE customers? Is anyone using any web portal-type software for this?

CLE Software

The CLE office recently moved to EventsPro 11.0 from Certain. They are
just beginning the process, but so far it has been smooth. The
installation of the server/client based software was not bad. Certain's
tech support is good. They do have a web piece, but we did not purchase
it. Also, we began from scratch, no data migration, which makes things
a lot easier.
