Outlook calendar utility
Hi,
We are using *a lot* of shared calendars here and I was wondering if anyone had found or written an Outlook utility that would automatically copy any appointment on my personal calendar to a shared calendar(s). And it would be great if it adjusted any updates as well.
Thanks!
Bob

RE: Outlook calendar utility
If you start from the shared calendar, there's a "copy to personal
calendar" option in 2007...at least, there is for public folder
calendars.

RE: Outlook calendar utility
Thanks for the responses. I finally found something a little more flexible when dealing with multiple calendars. Each public calendar has an email address associated with it. So when setting up a meeting that needs to go on a public calendar, just invite calendarname@server.com to the meeting and the meeting will show up on the calendar as an invitation. This has the advantage that it will get any updates or cancellations.
You can find the public calendar's email address by right clicking on it in Folder List view and going to Properties | Administration and clicking the Add Folder Address To Contacts button. Then you can find the email address on the contact. You don't need the contact once you have the email address so if you want to delete it you can.

Wont help with Syncing, but if you View àCurrent View as All
Appointments you can highlight all the items on your calendar and paste it
into a new calendar
