Request for Assistance AND Community Contribution Opportunity
Emboldened by the recent Teknoids thread demonstrating a dazzling
display of community wisdom on classroom recording methodologies, I
humbly ask your assistance.
I am in need of student surveys - something that you would give to
your incoming students to find out about their computing habits,
hardware and software, but also surveys that take the temperature of
student attitudes towards law school operations - administration (i.e.
"How are we doing?").
I don't want to impose without also offering something in return. If
you send me links or PDFs or Word docs or whatever (and permission), I
will gather these up into a single collection and post them to the
Legal Education Commons with an appropriate tag (like #survey) or
such. If I get enough of these, I might do an article on the
anthropology of law student tech surveys and my next post will be a
download link to SSRN.
If you want to link or upload them yourself to http://www.cali.org/lec
by all means, please do.
If you are further willing to share the RESULTS of any such survey,
now that generosity would require me to buy you a beverage of your
choice (beer, coffee, coffee-flavored beer) the next time we meet.
Thank you for your kind attention.
John
P.S. Yes, I would LOVE to hear all about your student printing policies too.
