Study room scheduling software

Hi All,

I'm interested in any experiences/recommendations you might like to share
regarding software for scheduling study rooms. Unlike the more
traditional room scheduling scenarios, our situation is a bit different in
that we have some rules for the students which we would like to stick with
if at all possible. An example of such a rule would be that a study room
can only be booked by a particular student for three hours consecutively.

We are considering developing our own application for this, but would like
to investigate any existing options before possibly reinventing the wheel.

Thanks!

Study room scheduling software

Hi Dave.

The University of Mississippi currently uses MRBS
(http://mrbs.sourceforge.net/) for room booking software. The MRBS
website has a demo available. We've had very good luck with it.It can
be configured to limit how long rooms can be booked, among many other
features. It's open source, so you have the option of tweaking it to
suit your needs.

Study room scheduling software

I'm currently trying out phpScheduleIt for use at LSU Law.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpscheduleit/
It's not exactly what I want but it is free. I'll have to check out
MRBS too. Thanks.
