Video to watch today: Future of Law Libraries and a House Committee hearing

If you have a few minutes today, there are a couple of video streams
you may want to talk a look at.

At Harvard, the Future of Law Libraries conference is going on today
only. The conf website is at
http://cyber.law.harvard.edu/futurelawlib/Main_Page and the live video
stream of the main speakers is at http://hvrd.me/follwebcast.

At 10:00 AM Tom Bruce, Director of LII and founder of the teknoids
mailing list, is testifying before the House Committee on House
Administration at a public hearing on “Modernizing Information
Delivery in the House”. The video stream of the hearing is available
on from the hearing page at http://tinyurl.com/3dx9qzl.

Enjoy,
Elmer.

RE: Video to watch today: Future of Law Libraries and a House C

Since they use the term provocateur, I'll add this - this is a future as told mostly by people at the end of their careers. The future is being written by the professionals in ranks, the true innovators and service providers. I'm not dismissive of the contributions that these people have made, but if want to know what coming or where we should go, we should be listening to new voices.

Curmudgeonly,
Steve
