Teknoids

We have a lot of NEC MT1065 projectors installed in our classrooms. This
semester I'm noticing a lot of them are having problems turning on. We
use pretty basic Extron controllers to operate them. The most common
symptom is that the user presses the power button, and a red light
starts blinking on the projector (a series of six flashes). According to
the manual, that means that they lamp has failed to light. If I climb up
and turn the hard switch off and on, it works again. I just replaced the
bulb on one this morning. It worked for the first class, then failed for
the second class, so I'm thinking it's not the bulb.

Has anyone else had similar problems?
