Early Friday funny

Video is amusing and kind of geeky, but there may be some non-work-safe language.

We are ordering next year's student laptops with Vista. We plan to upgrade
the lab machines as well. It's great from a group policy management
standpoint, which we use instead of Deep Freeze to manage computers and
restrict users. Not to mention the other features Microsoft touts (search,
aero, etc.)

Of course, you will have older software that doesn't work quite right, but
I'm sure those vendors will catch up quickly if they want to remain vendors.
Of course, with XP, Vista, or anything, you will want to test test test
first.

In this Microsoft-dominated world, you are more or less going to have to
upgrade to Vista and/or support it at some point. The question comes down
to now or later. I think you might as well jump in and learn the quirks
now. The students will bring it in anyway.

So while we ARE on the subject, and apologies if I missed this, but are many
of you upgrading to Vista in your labs, etc.? If we get funded again, I'll
be making some decisions along those lines for our handful of machines...
