The Texas Tech University Law School Library in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a self motivated system administrator to manage a range of servers and systems, including a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Farm and Enterprise Level Clustered SQL Servers, in a predominantly MS Windows Server 2003 environment.  There is approximately 2 Terabytes of SAN attached storage and the Law School is also extensively using and expanding on virtualization capabilities using VMWare products including Enterprise Level ESX and VI3.   Must possess a high degree of professionalism, customer service orientation, and the ability to interact with all levels of law staff, students and faculty. Strong written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, server virtualization. General understanding of network communication concepts. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
