Thanks, Laurie, for setting this up! I look forward to talking with you and others who join the group.

I thought it might be helpful if we share a little bit about our role in the law school in which we work. I am the Director of the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (assisting Faculty) as well as Director of E-Learning (currently videoconferencing and online)at Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

Just like the rest of you, Cooley Law School is still evolving in e-learning. We have been doing videoconferencing for two years and online for one year - mostly in the graduate program.

I met Laurie at the recent CALI conference and enthusiastically agreed with her suggestion of forming a group around distance education. I think our first priority is to identify what it is we want to accomplish thru our interaction.

Regards, to all!
Vickie
