Library theft detection

Hello all!

I don't know how I got involved, but I am now in charge of a project for
secure access to the school. We have installed a prox card system, for
entry into the library, without a hitch. Now I need to update out library's
3M Tattletape theft detection system. Do any of you have any experience
with theft detection systems? We need to use the EM detection, because all
the collections already have the strips in the books.

I would like to know if there are any other companies that may do a better
job than 3M in detection?
