Greetings Teknoids.

The University of Mississippi Law Library is looking at upgrading our
existing printing account software. Currently we're using Software
Metrics Printer Account Server 2.1 (http://www.metrics.com). We have
two domain controllers running Windows 2000, one of which acts as our
print server. We're probably going to upgrade to 2003 or 2008 in the
near future.

One problem with PAS is that users on our wireless network cannot
print. One of the more common IT questions I receive is, "Can I print
from my laptop to the lab printers?" and I always have to tell the
student(s) no. I'd like a print solution that allows Active Directory
authentication that also works will with wireless access.

I thought I would poll Teknoids for any thoughts. If you've used a
printing account system that works well for your setup (or even one
that does not work so well) I would love to hear about it.
