The LIT-SIS Grants and Awards Committee is happy to announce that they are reopening and expanding the ABA TECHSHOW grant application window.
One in-person grant for $950 and two virtual grants for $250 will be awarded to attend the 2022 ABA TECHSHOW. The application deadline for this grant is February 21, 2022 at 5:00 pm EST. Grants will be made on the basis of: (a) proven potential ability; and (b) promise of future usefulness and permanence in the legal information profession. The applicant’s financial need will also be considered.
All LIT-SIS members are eligible for this grant. Generally, the awards committee may consider whether the applicant has been the previous recipient of other LIT-SIS grants. Notwithstanding, in the case of limited applications, consideration of previous recipients will not be limited.
All applicants must complete this application and send it with a letter of recommendation to the committee chair, ddell@nova.edu. The letters of recommendation should be from someone at the applicant’s current institution
