Dubbed “Péter” and coming six months after FFmpeg 7.0, the FFmpeg 7.1 release brings a full native Intel QSV-accelerated VVC decoder, a new MV-HEVC decoder, a new LC-EVC decoder, a new xHE-AAC decoder, an LCEVC filter, Vulkan H.264 and H.265 encoders, and a D3D12VA HEVC encoder.
